Just 3 guys playing real rock n roll! A 3 piece band, from Manchester, UK, formed originally in 2006 on an informal basis for a private birthday party! Having realised they were in fact pretty damn good, the members decided to turn the band into an established unit & have gigged regularly ever since. Given their young age they've progressed alarmingly well & in 2007 delivered a great little CD/EP called "Just Three Words" which they self-released & sales of that are well beyond expectations.

They've had relative success in competitions - in 2007 they were runners-up in the Powersound BOTB, second only by 1 solitary point to a band many more years advanced in age. Based on their performance at the final the majority of people there had predicted that Breakdown would win. They also entered the XFM Radio Rockschool competition, reaching the final 10, from many bands in the region, again a creditable result particularly given age differences between Breakdown & the other bands. Two of Breakdown's other highlights have been starring performances at Rocksector's Limelight Live Music Events in 2007 & February  2008. They've also become firm favourites at Manchester area venues such as the nationally-renowned Hark To Towler (Bury).

New demo CD "Lonely Road" was  launched at the "Friday The 13th" event at Radcliffe Civic on 13th February.
