Decadenze
 

 

Decadenze was formed by brothers Chris Edge (vocalist) and Steve Edge (bass player), quickly assembling a line-up of which their peers were envious. 

The band set about working long & hard to develop their skills & sound, writing original material from day one, as well as paying their dues as a hard-working gigging band which quickly earned them a fantastic reputation on the live circuit. They released their 'You Cant Stop Me' Demo E.P. and set out local tour dates playing over 50 gigs in their year one!

A second Demo EP “Decadenze” followed & this time they played 100+ tour dates for the year including venues such as the 'Liverpool Carling Academy' the 'Limelight Club' in Crewe, 'Hotel California' in Birkenhead and even the famous 'Ruskin Arms' where Iron Maiden had played their 1st ever gigs.

In September of 2007 a third demo “Broken Empathy” was recorded & another year of amazing gig experience followed. To-date the band has now played shows with some fantastic bands including Blaze Bayley, Voodoo Six, Budgie, Heaven’s Basement. 

Decadenze have just recently finished recording their first full debut album “Beyond Obsession” for official release on 1st June. The recording process has left no stone un-turned in the search for the perfect capture of the band’s sound. The release is already hotly anticipated amongst the band’s loyal fans far & wide. The album also features amazing front cover artwork by Mark Wilkinson who is also known for his work with the likes of Judas Priest & Marillion.
