artwork revealed for the forthcoming "Restless" album. Concept/design
by CadiesArt - Digital ArtWork & logo/type by Rishi Mehta (Babylon
Fire). New song unveiled & also delighted to confirm that Luke
Appleton of Iced Earth will now be joining Chris & Wizz Wizzard on the
live dates. Luke will be playing guitar.
Also, today a 2nd
song "Seafarer" is released for streaming today at

I love this cool artwork from CadiesArt & Rishi. The restless sea
obviously links in really well with both the album title & the opening
track 'Seafarer'. It was also very cool to share vocals on this song
with my great friend Wizz Wizzard from Belgium & it's so cool that my
bro Luke can now join us for the live shows"

THE FORTHCOMING "RESTLESS" SOLO ALBUM. The song "No Tomorrow" is

On this particular track Chris plays all guitars & sings all vocals.
The album features guests Luke Appleton (Iced Earth) & Wizz Wizzard
from Belgium (of the band Wizz Wizzard & his own solo project Wizz
Acoustic). "No Tomorrow" is a medium-paced melodic acoustic song, with
some fretboard wizardry in the middle section as you'd expect from one
of Europe's leading virtuoso guitarists.

13th November 2014 .. ABSOLVA frontman CHRIS APPLETON announces
"Restless" solo acoustic album & tour.
Chris Appleton, lead
vocalist and lead guitarist of ABSOLVA, one of Europe's leading
exponents of British metal, extends his virtuosity to the acoustic
format with a forthcoming solo album and tour entitled "Restless". The
project features WIZZ WIZZARD (Belgium) on vocals and Iced Earth's
LUKE APPLETON, who also composed 2 of the songs, contributes
additional guitar on the album.
In Chris' own words..
"People are asking me.. why another album? Why another project?....
and it's in the title 'Restless". Whenever I come back from a tour I'm
always waiting for the next one. Whenever I record an album I can't
wait to record the next. I really would spend all my time on tour if I
could, so I'm trying to make that happen! I've had a great time
recording the album in Belgium on days off during the latest ABSOLVA
tour. The result is great. It's excellent to have WIZZ WIZZARD singing
on it and even my brother LUKE played some guitar and wrote
a couple of the songs. Something different and I think you'll like
it!"

on 24th November 2014.

Lotenhulle, Belgium. Engineered by Bart Wyns. Mixed and mastered by

In line with his insatiable appetite
for his art, Chris recently completed an 8 week tour of Europe with
ABSOLVA, not to mention an earlier 6 week European Tour as part of
BLAZE BAYLEY's band. He plays further shows with BLAZE BAYLEY during
November, a 6 date UK Tour with ABSOLVA in December, before taking
this acoustic project on the road in January/February 2015. After that
the cycle begins again with a European Tour planned for ABSOLVA in
March/April and the same for BLAZE BAYLEY in May/June.
