"an amalgamation of complex song structures, stop-start dynamics, prog quirkiness, punishing riffs, energy & superior melodies" Big Cheese

"energetic, eye catching & just a little odd"

The band went on to play Bloodstock Festival in August 2011 & won similar acclaim for their outstanding performance there….

"at every festival there is always one band that genuinely takes you aback.. brilliantly fun band.. brilliant to behold" Cack Blabbath

"top notch ‘funky sounding’.. as enjoyable to watch jumping about to their music as listening to it. In fact I have been enjoying their debut album “Giggle Juice” in my car since the festival" TFFM

As well as the upcoming live work, Fantasist have also hooked up with Manchester-based video production company Video
Ink & are due to begin filming "The Divide" on 12th February. Expect originality & oddness befitting their music. The video is expected to be available for broadcast from early-mid March.

Mark Appleton of Rocksector Records comments “I believe it’s pretty much impossible to accurately describe Fantasist’s music in words so the best thing to do is give them a listen. Their songs get inside your mind & stick. Put the CD in your car stereo & you simply won’t think of removing it!”

The band already has a wealth of new material in the pipeline for a follow-up album which is provisionally anticipated for release October-November 2012.
