Announcement 13th July 2011
Exit State sign worldwide deal with Rocksector Records for the release of their "Black Veins" album. Song available to listen now.
Exit State are delighted to announce that their second album "Black Veins" is to be released on the Rocksector Records label. The release date is Monday 3rd October 2011.
The band had already been working with the management arm of Rocksector, yet the "Bad Days" EP & debut album "Death Of A Rockstar" were successfully released on the King Prawn Records label.
A mutual agreement between the band & both labels during the past week results in the decision that it's in the band's best interests to move on by releasing "Black Veins" on the Rocksector label. The previous help & support from King Prawn Records & in particular owner/producer Steve Fenton is warmly appreciated & indeed King Prawn will continue to support the band in respect of the earlier releases.
Looking forward, as said "Black Veins" will be released on Rocksector. This re-arrangement means it's impossible to launch the album at next weeks' SOS Festival & the band apologises to those fans eagerly expecting to buy the album at that event. 3rd October is the official release & watch out for more news soon regarding an alternative launch event. The band is 100% convinced this move to a label with artists like Fury UK, Attica Rage, former AC/DC singer Dave Evans, Falling Red & many more, puts them exactly where they need to be to make the very best of the brilliant things which have happened to the band during the past 12 months.
Meanwhile, Exit State still look forward to playing at SOS Festival (16th & 17th July), with an acoustic set on the Saturday & a full set on the Sunday, in support of headliners GUN, when we'll be previewing songs from the new album. Additionally, Roy, Adam & Phil will be helping out Nigel Roberts (Marseille) with his own acoustic set on Sunday.
The band is now excited to present the first streaming of "Check Out The Crazy" from the new album....
