25th January 2012 : 4BITTEN ANNOUNCE 2ND ALBUM "DELIRIUM" FOR RELEASE IN APRIL 2012

From the often troubled streets of Athens comes as fresh, relevant & powerful a melodic hard rock record as you’re likely to hear in 2012. Greek rockers 4Bitten announce their much-anticipated 2^nd album “Delirium” for release on Rocksector Records on 23^rd April 2012. 

Almost 3 years after their debut album “No More Sins”, also on Rocksector, this 4 piece band, fronted by a diminutive American/Greek lady of undoubtedly big vocal ability, is ready to unleash a 2^nd offering. Fofi Roussos comments “Although we were hugely proud of our debut, we know there’s so much more to come from the band & we had no intention of rushing things”. 

“Delirium” is a record that picks up all the qualities of the 1^st album whilst making stellar steps forward in terms of production, songwriting & performances. Fofi continues “We’ve all been touched or affected in some way by the financial crisis & it was important to each of us in 4Bitten that somehow we cut through all that & tried to reflect the great passion & culture which lives & breathes in our country come-what-may”. 

When in 2008 Rock Hard magazine first spotted 4Bitten’s enormous potential they invited the band to record a track which was released on the magazine’s KISS tribute record. At that point perhaps even Rock Hard didn’t foresee that the band would before long be signing their first record deal, leading almost straight away to valuable support slots with Michael Schenker Group & Dan Reed in the UK, & later Uriah Heep & Tygers Of Pan Tang in Athens. Prior to 2011 when the main focus was on writing & recording, the band had become regular visitors on tour in the UK. 

The 4Bitten sound stems from the British & American rock titans of the last 4 decades but where “Delirium” scores especially highly is in refreshing & updating the band’s influences….

Tour dates in both UK & Europe are currently in planning for 2012 in addition to a debut music video directed & produced by the highly-praised Video Ink, based in the UK. 

“Delirium” was recorded at the Soundflakes studio in Greece, produced by Nick Papadopoulos & was mastered at West Side Studios in New York by Alan Douches (Mastodon, Clutch, Sepultura, Hatebreed, Killswitch Engage).
